Depending on how much structural shifting your payload will experience during transport, you can select between two distinct commercial reinforcement configurations:
- Cross Weave Filament Tape: Woven with a two-way bidirectional fiberglass grid. This creates maximum tear resistance across both the length and width of the roll. It is the industry standard for high-weight palletising, structural steel bundling, and heavy concrete stencilling where the tape must be pulled up cleanly without shredding.
- Single Weave Filament Tape: Reinforced with straight, uni-directional one-way glass yarns. This delivers incredible linear strength along the length of the tape at a lower cost tier. Perfect for standard box reinforcement, medium strapping runs, and securing loose component kits.

Filament Strapping Tape FAQs
Can filament tape be cleanly torn by hand on the packing bench?
No. Because the backing film is packed with thick fiberglass yarns, it is virtually impossible to tear by hand. Your warehouse team will need to use a heavy-duty hand tape dispenser, utility knife, or bench cutters to split the tape cleanly.
Why do concrete and rendering trades use cross weave tape for stencilling?
Concrete stencilling requires tape that can withstand being covered in heavy mortar and pulled up forcefully without snapping. The two-way bidirectional fiberglass grid in cross weave tape ensures the lines pull up in one solid piece, saving hours of scraping on site.
Does this strapping tape leave a sticky glue residue behind when removed?
Our tapes feature a premium synthetic rubber adhesive designed for immediate high-tack grab. While it anchors firmly to cardboard, plastics, and metals, it is best suited for secure structural shipping. For clean-peel applications on delicate surfaces, test a sample strip first.
