Bubble Bags
Bubble Bags
Fast, padded protection for medium to high volume runs of uniform products
Power Packaging's bubble bag range is built for businesses moving consistent volumes of similarly sized goods, where speed at the pack bench matters as much as protection. Each bag comes with the bubble cushioning built straight into the bag itself, so there's no separate wrapping step. We stock a full size run in plain, anti-static, and Ecopure biodegradable formats, with 10mm bubble diameter as standard and 20mm or 32mm available for bulkier or heavier items. Held at our Villawood warehouse for fast Sydney dispatch or pickup.
Bubble Bag Range and Size Guide
Built-In Cushioning, No Extra Wrapping
Bubble bags combine the bag and the cushioning into a single layer, which makes them an economical option once you're packing medium to high volumes of similarly sized items. Drop the product in, seal it, and it's ready to go, without reaching for a separate roll of bubble wrap or extra void fill. Our 10mm bubble diameter is the standard most businesses run with, suited to electronics, glassware, and general fragile goods, while 20mm and 32mm diameter bubble is available for heavier or bulkier items that need a bit more give.
Plain, Anti-Static and Ecopure Formats
Plain bubble bags cover most general packing needs straight out of the box. If you're shipping electronic devices or anything sensitive to static discharge, our anti-static bubble bags are purpose-built to keep components safe in transit. For businesses wanting to cut back on standard plastics, Ecopure bubble bags are made from biodegradable material and perform the same job without the same footprint.
| Size Code | Internal Dimensions (mm) | Carton Quantity | Ideal Application |

| BB000 | 100 x 203 | 450 / Ctn | Small parts, jewellery, and compact accessories |
| BB00 | 125 x 245 | 450 / Ctn | Small electronics and general fragile items |
| BB6 | 150 x 390 | 300 / Ctn | Long, narrow items such as tools or slim hardware |
| BB2 | 215 x 300 | 300 / Ctn | Mid-sized electronics, homewares, and retail goods |
| BB4 | 240 x 360 | 200 / Ctn | Larger electronics, books, and bulkier fragile goods |
| BB5 | 265 x 400 | 200 / Ctn | Larger glassware, homewares, and bulky retail items |
Stock vs Indent Items
BB000 and BB2 are held as standard stock items, so these typically move the fastest. BB00, BB4, BB5, and BB6 are indent lines, meaning they're ordered in rather than sitting on the shelf year-round. If you're planning ahead for one of the indent sizes, it's worth getting in touch early so we can factor in lead time before your stock runs low.
Custom Sizes on Request
If none of our standard sizes are quite right for what you're packing, we can arrange custom-made bubble bags to suit your specific product dimensions or shape. Get in touch with your requirements and we'll work out what's possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between plain, anti-static, and Ecopure bubble bags?
Plain bubble bags are suited to general packaging needs where static isn't a concern. Anti-static bubble bags are designed specifically for electronic components and devices that can be damaged by static discharge. Ecopure bubble bags use biodegradable material to do the same job as a standard bag, for businesses wanting to reduce their plastic use.
How do I work out which size bubble bag I need?
Measure your product at its widest points and choose a size with a little extra room rather than an exact fit, since the bubble lining needs space to cushion properly. Our size guide above lists internal dimensions for each code from BB000 through to BB5. If you're between two sizes or packing an irregular shape, send us the dimensions and we'll recommend the closest match.
What's the difference between 10mm, 20mm, and 32mm bubble diameter?
The diameter refers to the size of each individual air bubble within the lining. 10mm is our standard and suits most general fragile goods. 20mm and 32mm diameter bubble provides more cushioning depth and is generally better suited to heavier items or products that need extra impact absorption.
What does it mean if a bubble bag size is listed as an indent item rather than stock?
Stock items are kept on hand at our Villawood warehouse and are generally ready to go straight away. Indent items are ordered in to suit demand rather than held permanently in stock, so they can carry a longer lead time. If you rely on an indent size regularly, it's worth setting up a standing order so we can plan ahead with you.
Can you make custom-sized or custom-shaped bubble bags?
Yes. If your product doesn't suit one of our standard sizes, we can arrange a custom-made bubble bag to your specifications. Send through the dimensions or a rough sketch of what you need via the enquiry form and we'll get back to you on what's achievable.
Do you offer trade pricing for bulk or recurring orders?
Yes. We work with businesses that pack consistent volumes of bubble bags every month and can set up trade terms accordingly. Send through your usual order volume, preferred sizes, and format using the form below and we'll come back to you with the right arrangement.
What are the delivery and collection options across Sydney?
We hold our stocked bubble bag sizes at our Villawood warehouse, so most orders can go out quickly across the Sydney metro area, or you're welcome to swing by and collect. Free delivery applies on qualifying orders over $300.
