Courier Bags & Satchels
Courier Bags and Satchels for Online Orders and Dispatch
Tough self-seal courier satchels in sizes from 190 x 260mm to 750 x 900mm
Our courier bags are the tough plastic satchels that online stores, warehouses and dispatch teams use to send clothing, textiles, documents and other soft goods. Each bag has a self-seal flap, so you just peel, fold and send.
Our main range is made with 50% recycled content, which cuts the amount of new plastic in every order without losing strength. We also carry Courier Tuffpack bags and biodegradable satchels, all sold by the carton from our Villawood warehouse.

Why Use Courier Bags?
Fast to Pack
Drop the item in, peel the strip and fold the flap. No tape, no cartons to make up, and no wasted space.
Light to Send
A satchel weighs a fraction of a carton, which helps keep courier and postage costs down on every order.
Tough Film
Strong polyethylene film resists tears and punctures in courier networks and keeps out dust and rain in transit.
Less New Plastic
Our main range is made with 50% recycled content, an easy way to lower the new plastic in your packaging.

Choosing the Right Size
Measure the item. Lay it flat and measure the width and length.
Allow some room. Add about 20mm to each measurement so the item slides in and the flap seals flat. For thicker items, also add the thickness to the width and the length.
Stock two or three sizes. Most online stores cover nearly every order with a small, a medium and a large bag, such as 250 x 325mm, 340 x 440mm and 420 x 450mm.
What Our Customers Send in Them
Clothing and textiles. T-shirts, activewear, uniforms and linen for online stores and wholesalers.
Documents and flat goods. Paperwork, books in a sleeve, printed material and samples.
Bulky soft goods. The 600 x 650mm and 750 x 900mm bags suit bedding, cushions, jackets and bulk orders.

Common Questions
Is a courier bag the same as a satchel?
Yes. Courier bags, courier satchels, postage satchels, shipping bags and poly mailers are all names for the same thing: a tough plastic bag with a self-seal flap, made for sending goods by courier or post.
What does 50% recycled content mean?
Half of the plastic in the bag comes from recycled material instead of new plastic. You get the same tough courier bag with less new plastic in every order you send.
What size courier bag do I need?
Measure the item, then add about 20mm to the width and length so it slides in easily and the flap closes flat. For thick items, add the thickness to both the width and the length. If you're not sure, call us and we'll help you choose.
Should I use a courier bag or a padded mailer?
Use a courier bag for soft or unbreakable goods like clothing, textiles and documents. For items that need cushioning, such as electronics, cosmetics or small parts, use a padded or bubble mailer.
How are courier bags sold?
By the carton. Carton quantities depend on the size, from 2,000 bags for the smallest size down to 100 for the largest. Tell us what you use each month and we'll quote to suit.
Do you deliver courier bags in Sydney?
Yes. We deliver from our Villawood warehouse, and delivery is free on Sydney metro orders over $300. Pickup is also available.
