Hand Poly Strap
Description
Poly Strapping (PP): Practical Plastic Strap for Everyday Loads
Need a simple, reliable way to keep cartons together and pallets tidy? Our polypropylene pallet strapping is a lightweight, tough plastic strap that’s easy to work with and affordable to run. It’s the everyday poly strapping warehouses reach for when speed, safety, and value matter.
Why choose polypropylene strapping?
- Strong without the bulk: Holds tight while keeping freight weights down.
- Built for busy floors: Flexible and easy to feed, seal, and cut—great for fast packing lines.
- Dependable in typical Aussie conditions: Suits indoor storage and short-haul transport.
- Budget-friendly: Everyday value for high-throughput operations.
- Reusable where practical: Can be re-tensioned or re-used in low-risk scenarios.
- Sizes & colours: 12 mm, 15 mm, 19 mm widths; black/white/yellow options to match your workflow.
- Tool-friendly: Works with manual tensioners, buckles, crimpers & seals, dispensers, and many semi-automatic/battery tools.
Best-fit uses
- Carton bundling and closing where tape alone isn’t enough.
- Pallet unitising for light–medium loads (use multiple straps/cross-strapping for taller stacks).
- General warehousing, e-commerce dispatch, 3PL pick/pack.
Choosing the right poly strapping
- Load weight & height: Heavier or taller pallets often need wider strap (15–19 mm) and more wraps.
- Throughput: Hand tools are ideal for low/medium volume; step up to semi-auto or battery tools for speed.
- Surface care: PP is gentler than steel, helping reduce corner damage on cartons.

PP vs PET vs Steel — which strap should I use?
PP (poly strapping) is the economical all-rounder for light–medium loads. PET offers higher strength and lower stretch for heavier pallets and longer transit. Steel is reserved for very high tension, sharp edges, or high-temperature environments.
