Heavy-duty kraft padded mailing bags with built-in paper cushioning, from 151 x 229mm to 361 x 483mm Jiffy padded mailers are tough kraft paper bags with an even layer of shredded paper padding sealed between the plies. That padding cushions your product on every side, so there's no need for bubble wrap or void fill, and you get box-like protection without the bulk or postage weight of a carton. Sealed Air makes them from 100% recycled paper. They're ideal for padded mailers carrying semi-fragile items such as books, small parts, tools, cosmetics and accessories, and every size is stocked in our Villawood warehouse. Tip: the padding takes up some room inside, so allow a little more space than you would with an unpadded bag. If in doubt, size up.

What's inside a Jiffy padded mailer?
A layer of shredded (macerated) recycled paper sealed between two plies of kraft. It cushions the contents on every side, so you don't need extra packing materials.
Padded mailer or bubble mailer?
Both cushion your product. Jiffy padded mailers use paper padding and have a heavy kraft outer. Bubble mailers, like our Maxi Tuff and Bubble Kraft ranges, use air bubble lining and are lighter. Padded mailers suit heavier semi-fragile items; bubble mailers suit lighter items where postage weight matters most.
Are Jiffy padded mailers recyclable?
Sealed Air makes them from 100% recycled paper and describes them as recyclable. Check what your local council accepts in kerbside recycling.
How do they seal?
Each mailer has a self-seal strip. Peel off the liner, fold the flap and press down firmly. The bottom flap is double-folded and double-glued for extra strength.
